The Fiber Arts Show is a two-day exhibit and sale, on Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Represented are fiber artists from Washington and Hancock Counties and beyond in Maine, with the following variety: hand-dyed (roving), hand-carded and hand-spun (offering a lovely assortment of skeins of yarns), hand-woven (tabletop, clothing & rugs), hand-knit and hand sewn (scarves, hats, clothing, handbags, pillows), hand-braided rugs and runners, assorted needlework, (framed wall art, pillows, runners), tapestries, tufting, and up-cycled items. Numerous artists are demonstrating their craft, including spinning, weaving, folk stitching, braiding, carding, lace knitting and needlework. From raw wool to beautiful, finished pieces of art ready to wear or use in your home.

Fiber arts photography close-ups were taken by fiber artists Manuela Brice, owner of Lunamuse Fiberart and Gail McGlammery, owner of Gail Handspun Yarn. We thank them for their permission for use.

The black and white photo at the 2015 Eastport Fiber Arts Show was taken by Don Dunbar, owner of Eastern Maine Images, member and supporter of the Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce. We thank him for use of his photography.
